Actress Iyabo Ojo has officially welcomed her grandson, Rakeem Mkambala, to Nigeria in grand style.
The 47-year-old shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday showing the moment she received her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, her son-in-law, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and their son, Rakeem.
The family was surrounded by friends and members of the media who captured the heartwarming reunion with cameras and videos.
Iyabo captioned the post, “Welcome to Nigeria 🇳🇬 @rakeem_mk.”
The homecoming follows an extravagant 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for baby Rakeem held earlier this month in Tanzania.
Priscilla also shared clips of their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria on her Instagram story, expressing gratitude to her mother and godmother. “Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.
Priscilla Ojo welcomed her baby boy in Canada on August 24. Afterwards, she returned to Tanzania, where her husband, Juma Jux, organised a grand reception in their honour.
