Alex Iwobi on Thursday night held his nose following a stand-off with Rennes player, Hamari Traore, in an apparent way of telling him his breath stunk.
The Arsenal midfielder faced off with his Rennes opponent late in the 3-0 win at the Emirates.
Iwobi appeared to kick out at Traore before the two exchanged words from close range in injury time.
The Nigerian international took a few steps backwards and held his nose as teammate, Sead Kolasinac, pulled him away.
He held his nose a few seconds longer afterwards before they both returned to play.
