Actor and online matchmaker Adams Kehinde, known as Lege Miami, has described his friendship with Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, as one-sided.
In a video circulating on social media, Lege Miami said he invested his own funds into his matchmaking brand and hoped the relationship with Seyi would bring benefits. He claimed communication between them has been limited and that he has not received the support he expected.
Lege Miami said:
“I never enjoy Seyi as a friend, I’ve spent a lot of money, all my matchmaking money. We communicate. At times, I can call Seyi Tinubu for 100 times and he will not pick my call.”
He added that Seyi may be overloaded with responsibilities, which could explain his lack of response.
The actor’s comments have sparked reactions online, with some questioning the nature of the friendship and others suggesting that expecting financial or career support from associations with high-profile figures is unrealistic.
Lege Miami has previously described Seyi as a close friend on social media. Last month, he explained why he was not included in a birthday tribute video for Seyi, saying, “My inability to speak good English is why I was excluded from the birthday tribute. Seyi is not at fault.”
