Actress Nkechi Blessing says she has never dated a man richer than her.
Speaking on a podcast, the 36-year-old revealed she has “dated down” three times but has vowed not to do so again.
“I’ve never dated someone who has more money than I do. I’ve dated down three times, and I’m not doing that anymore,” she said.
The film star insisted she is not materialistic but stressed that she has learned to prioritise her own financial stability.
Nkechi recently ended her relationship with her younger lover Xxssive, whom she began dating in 2021. The pair, who often flaunted their romance on social media, unfollowed each other on Instagram before she confirmed the breakup.
Despite criticism of her interest in younger men, Nkechi has maintained that she does not care what people say about her personal choices.
The actress was previously married to Ekiti-born politician Opeyemi Falegan, a union that ended in 2022 after months of public drama.
