Sarah Bassey, wife of gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey, has penned a lovely message to her husband on his 44th birthday.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Sarah shared pictures of herself and her husband with words of gratitude to God. She wrote, “Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of my husband, I am so grateful for his life.
“Thank You for him being such a wonderful man, a loving husband, a great father and a great blessing to the body of Christ.
“I pray all of heaven’s blessings for you today @nathanielblow This year is indeed a special one! Wishing you a birthday as extraordinary as you are!!!! Happy happy birthday my love. By God’s grace I’ve got your back always babe.”
In another post, she reflected on her husband’s selfless lifestyle.
She said, “One of the many things I love about my own. It’s your birthday and like every other day, you’re still giving of yourself, your time, your resources and more.
“For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.” Hebrews 6:10 NLT.

Nathaniel Bassey is known for songs such as ‘Imela’, ‘Onise Iyanu’ and ‘Olowogbogboro’.
He is also the convener of the popular online worship session tagged Hallelujah Challenge, which draws thousands of participants globally.
He married Sarah in 2013 and the couple has two children.
