Auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has taken his fiancée, Blessing CEO, on a courtesy visit to his godfather, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo.
The visit took place in Abuja, and videos shared online show the couple warmly received by the former Lagos NURTW chairman.
Blessing CEO, who posted the clip on Instagram, described MC Oluomo as “the number one prestigious street man” who understands grassroots politics.
She wrote:
“Landed Abuja boo boo took me on a courtesy visit to his God father. KING MC OLUOMO… The no 1, prestigious street Man way understand grassroots. Very calm and humble, him no dey find trouble but if you try am you go collect. Thank you sir for the warm reception.”
This comes weeks after Blessing shared a video of IVD becoming emotional after seeing her in a wedding dress.
In the video, IVD told her, “First time seeing this… I can’t wait to do it with you. Tears of joy coming.”
The couple got engaged in April, months after confirming their relationship in an interview with Daddy Freeze. During the interview, Blessing said she chose IVD because he gives her peace and makes her feel safe.
Rumours about their relationship became public in early 2023, shortly after the controversial death of IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna. The rumours gained traction when Blessing CEO shared a photo of a mystery man sporting a tattoo of her name, a gesture widely linked to IVD.
MC Oluomo, a close ally of top Lagos politicians, is known for his influence in the transport sector and street-level politics. He currently serves as chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages Committee.
