It felt surreal, Judith Audu on hearing All My Love from film Evi on radio

Film producer Judith Audu says it felt “surreal” when she first heard ‘All My Love’ from her film Evi playing on radio earlier this month.

Audu described the moment in an interview with Nollywire, recalling how she was in her car when the track came on. “That’s our song,” she said.

The music first appeared on air on Saturday, February 14, on eight stations, including Wazobia FM, Cool FM, Inspiration FM, UFM, Faji FM, Sound City FM, Konfam FM, and Lasgidi FM.

The track is performed by Osas Okonyon and Abbey Wonder, written by Martin Asogwa (Marzz) and produced by Tolu Obanro (Tyanx). It is part of a larger soundtrack campaign designed to stand on its own as a musical project, alongside its role in the film.

Audu explained that the soundtrack was developed before cameras began rolling on Evi. “The music is the core and the heart of the film,” she said. “If you listen to the album without watching the film, you’ll understand what the artist is going through.”

The single ‘All My Love’ explores themes of devotion, trust, and emotional commitment. Okonyon’s character, Evi, and Ibrahim Suleiman’s character, Dayo, perform the song within the movie’s story, bringing the narrative to life through music.

In addition to the radio release, the full music video was also made available on Valentine’s Day. The song is set to appear across major streaming platforms ahead of the soundtrack’s full release on February 27, while the film Evi is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide on March 27.

The rollout highlights Audu’s strategic focus on the soundtrack as part of the movie’s broader engagement plan, showing the growing trend in Nollywood of merging music and film as complementary storytelling tools.
