Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has celebrated his wife, Toyin Saraki, on her birthday.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the 62-year-old shared a photo of himself and his wife holding hands.
He began his message by writing, “Happy birthday, my darling @ToyinSaraki.”
Mr Saraki noted that the day was not only special to their family but also to many others, saying, “As our family and the world celebrate you today, know that I’m proud of you.”
He concluded his post by appreciating their journey together.
“I’m grateful to walk this journey of life with you,” he wrote.
Toyin Saraki is the founder of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, a non-governmental organisation focused on maternal, newborn and child health.
The couple got married in 1991 and have four children.
