Actor Kunle Remi has revealed his fate in Kunle Afolayan‘s 2022 award-winning movie Anikulapo.
In the movie, Kunle, who played the role of Saro, the weaver, was thought to have died. The character, however, returns in the series Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
Sharing a picture of himself on Instagram on Monday night, Kunle wrote, “As you can see, I am not dead.”
Kunle controversially missed out on nominations at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) where Anikulapo won five awards, including best overall movie.

Kunle Afolayan announced the end of the shooting of Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre on Monday.
The 48-year-old shared a video on his Instagram page that captured the moment the cast and crew of the movie screamed in excitement as he announced the end of shooting.
