Actor Charles Inojie has reacted to comments made by his colleague Shaffy Bello about his acting, saying he was left stunned by her words.
Shaffy made the remarks during an interview with media personality VJ Adams, where she spoke about her favourite comedy actors. She described the late Sam Loco as her top Nollywood comic actor and also praised Charles for his natural talent and timing.
“Please bring me Sam Loco. I will bring his spirit back if I could bring anybody back,” Bello said. Speaking about Inojie, she added, “His timing. People don’t get that, you can’t teach it, or could learn it. It is just innate.”
Reacting on his Instagram page on Saturday, Charles said the comment meant a lot to him and described it as the best New Year gift he has received so far.
“To be honest, I’m literally dumbfounded,” he wrote.
“To receive such glowing validation from an internationally renowned and widely celebrated professional is, to say the least, my best New Year gift so far.”
The actor also pledged to remain committed to his craft. “Thank you @iamshaffybello just as I make a fresh commitment never to disappoint. I DO NOT TAKE THIS FOR GRANTED,” he added.
Charles Inojie is an actor, director and producer who has featured in several Nollywood films and television productions. He is known for his comic roles as well as dramatic performances across different genres.
Shaffy Bello is an actress and singer with a long career in film, television and music. She remains an active figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
