Reality TV star and makeup artist Tacha has said she is eagerly waiting for confirmation from Guinness World Records (GWR) after attempting a beauty-related record.
She revealed this during an interview shared on Instagram on Friday.
Tacha said, “A lot of people have been asking and the crazy thing is like I’m even anticipating it more than you guys are anticipating it. But you guys know we have to put our evidences together when you send it to GWR. They need to like look into it and stuff like that.
“So yeah, I’m anticipating it more than you guys and it’s not a one record attempt to wait for. We went for two record attempts. Most makeover in 8 hours and most makeover in 24 hours. And like definitely we’re going to get our feedback soon and I’m not the one to hold these details.
“So definitely I’ll come and share to the world like you know my certificate is here and we’re throwing a huge party… Honestly, amen, amen from your mouth to God.”
According to reports, the former Big Brother Naija star attempted to break the record for most cosmetic makeovers by an individual in 24 hours during her Tacha Beauty Festival at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, Lagos.
Tacha completed about 145 makeovers within 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 113, and also attempted the most makeovers in 8 hours category. The three-day event attracted beauty enthusiasts and celebrities.
Her attempt follows celebrity chef Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record for the largest serving of jollof rice, weighing 8,780 kg, confirmed in September.
