I’ll tell my story when I deem fit, Anita Joseph on marriage rumours

Actress Anita Joseph has said she will “tell her story when she deems it fit” amid rumours that her marriage to MC Fish (Fisayo Olagunju) has ended.

On Monday, she shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing gratitude to her supporters and promising to speak on her own terms.

In the post, she wrote: “And the Lord did not Forsake me. I want to thank everyone who have shown me love one way or the other. Thank you, God will not leave you. Mother Hen is doing well. I will tell my story when I deem fit. Shallom!”

The post comes after weeks of speculation about the state of her union. Reports suggested tension arose after MC Fish reportedly joined the Freemason fraternity, and some social media posts claimed he had left Anita for another woman.

Despite the rumours, Anita has refused to confirm or deny the claims, signaling that she will only share her side of the story when ready.

This is a contrast to earlier times when the couple appeared inseparable. Just months ago, they marked their fourth wedding anniversary with tributes on social media: “Happy four years’ anniversary to the OLAGUNJUs. Even as they say we won’t last for two months. Even the ones who bet say them no fit last. Say na film we dey act. Na so we still dey act, the film dey carry go.”

Anita had previously addressed critics who predicted doom for her marriage, saying: “Posting your partner on social media cannot and will not break your marriage or relationship. What will break will break and what will spoil will spoil, whether you show it off on social media or not.”

While fans are left speculating, neither Anita nor MC Fish has publicly confirmed a split.
