Nigerian pop star, 2face, was on Tuesday conferred with an honorary degree by the Igbinedion University, Benin, Edo State.
The Benue-born artiste had earlier shared the news on his Instagram page on Friday.
Among those present at the ceremony were his ever supportive wife, Annie Idibia; and the Esama of Benin and founder of the university, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion,
2face and Anie paid a courtesy visit to Igbinedion on Monday preparatory to the award ceremony.
Among gifts presented to the Esama was a copy of 2face’s biography, A Very Good Bad Guy.
