Rapper Odumodublvck has signalled willingness to end his long‑running dispute with fellow rapper Blaqbonez if the latter issues an apology.
Speaking about the rift, he told Pulse in an interview, “I’d reconcile with Blaqbonez if he apologised.
“My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out the possibility of reconciliation because there is nothing God can’t forgive. However, you can only forgive a contrite heart.
“You are sending big artists to come and beg me but because you want to maintain a social image, you don’t want to apologise even in private because you feel I would expose you if you do.
“Real men don’t behave like that. I can’t possibly post someone’s apology online. If you can’t humble yourself, you will be stunted.”
The feud has played out publicly over the past year, with both artistes trading words on social media and in music. The disagreement began in mid‑2025 when Blaqbonez appeared to take a lyrical shot at Odumodublvck in the track ‘Who’s Really Rapping’. Odumodublvck responded on social media, saying, “I’m everything you want to be.”
In October 2025, Blaqbonez released ‘ACL’, a song containing verses interpreted as targeting Odumodublvck. The feud attracted attention from other artistes, with veteran rapper Erigga warning that such conflicts can negatively affect the Nigerian hip‑hop scene.
Odumodublvck later explained that the dispute was not only about rap but also involved personal matters and loyalty to those close to him.
