Actor Ibrahim Chatta has joined the cast of Ibrahim Yekini’s YouTube series Koleoso.
The news was shared in a collaboration post on Instagram on Thursday, which read, “Breaking 🔥🔥🔥 @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis Joins @iteledicon01 Koleoso Season 2. Meet Oso’s Grandfather Osopade.
“This casting is visionary and Koleoso season 2 is about to take the YouTube by storm.”
The announcement follows the success of the first season, which recorded millions of views and made Koleoso one of the most watched Yoruba titles on YouTube. The series crossed 100 million combined views, marking a milestone for a Nollywood title released as a single story on the platform.
Koleoso tells the story of a father and his children, exploring themes of power, tradition, and supernatural influence. The series features actors such as Saliu Gbolagade, Oluwakemi Apesin, Akinfolarin Olamide, and Yekini in the lead role.
Chatta joins as Osopade, Oso’s grandfather, adding a new dimension to the story in season two. He is known for roles in historical and epic productions, including Lisabi: The Uprising and other Yoruba films.
The second season is expected to build on the popularity of the first, continuing to draw viewers to YouTube.
