Nollywood stars including Fred Amata, Nkem Owoh, Monalisa Chinda and Uju Okoli have landed in London ahead of the premiere of Ibinabo Fiberesima’s new film Amanyanabo: The Eagle King.
A video shared by Ibinabo on Instagram on Friday showed the moment the cast arrived at the airport and exchanged pleasantries.
She captioned the post, “Amanyanabo The Eagle King Cast have arrived London for the Premiere of the Mich anticipated Film of the year, Amanyanabo The Eagke King.

Amanyanabo tells the story of Tamunoba, a goddess who appears to Ibanichuka, a carefree warrior, and against the norm pronounces him king of Okrika. In a cryptic warning, she tells him to show true strength against his greatest adversary to save his people from annihilation. His interpretation of the message leads to conquests, alliances and even civil war with a member of his war cabinet, while he also tries to unite a people already divided by the Christian religion led by Chief Ogan. When Ibanichuka finally discovers who his greatest adversary is, he realises to his shock that he had been on the wrong path all along and is forced to make a decision no warrior should ever make.
The film features Patrick Diabuah, Monalisa Chinda, Walter Anga, Lucien Morgan, Uju Okoli, Columbus Irosanga, Gentle Jack, Soibifaa Dokubo, Ikenna Onyekwena, Sonny Mcdon W, Kio London Biokpo, Oluwatunmise Emmanuel Akinbo, Ovunda Ihunwo, Izuchukwu Ezeokoli and Nkem Owoh. It was co-directed by Fred Amata and Ibinabo Fiberesima.
The premiere will take place on Friday (today) at Odeon Greenwich, London.
The Nigerian premiere is scheduled for September 12.
