I won’t let the wrong man get me pregnant – BBNaija’s Vee

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Victoria Iye, better known as Vee, has said she is determined not to fall into the trap of having a child with the wrong man.

In a video shared online on Wednesday, the 29-year-old described dating in Lagos as difficult, adding that her biggest fear is ending up with a “baby daddy” who would insult her.

“It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant,” she said. “It is my own personal mission. It may not be your own mission, but it is mine. And it’s not to say I’m better than the women that have been in that position.”

The singer and actress explained that her decision comes from a place of self-awareness.

“It’s simply because I know myself, I know what I’m like, and I try to avoid certain situations that would put me in a state of psychosis,” she said.

Vee admitted her passion for self-protection sometimes gets in the way of finding love.

“I’m passionate about not getting f*cked over and maybe that is what stops me from finding unapologetic love,” she added.

Describing her personality, she said: “I’m stubborn. I’m hard-headed. But I’m not stupid. I need to make sure that when it comes to choosing a life partner, I try my best to get it right.”

The reality TV star noted that while no one can fully know another person, one can learn from others’ stories and make informed decisions.

Vee also reflected on her personal growth, saying: “I’m turning 29, but 28 was fantastic.”

Vee rose to fame after competing in the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija where she finished in the top five.
