Layal Tinubu, wife of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has shared how she met her husband.

In a recent video broadcast marking Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday, Layal revealed that they met on the social media platform Facebook.

She said her husband’s personality and composure attracted her when they first connected online.

“We met on Facebook. I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line per se. But it was more of how he carried himself that drew me to him. He was confident yet easy-going. And he has this opulent charm like he didn’t really need to try,” she said.

Layal Tinubu is a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur.

She studied law at the University of Reading, United Kingdom and also holds a Master’s degree in entrepreneurship and business management from the University of Surrey.

She is the founder of Tots Toys, an educational toy company that focuses on early childhood learning.

Layal and Seyi Tinubu got married in 2016. They have two children together.

Seyi Tinubu is the co-founder of Loatsad Promomedia, an outdoor advertising company based in Lagos and also serves as a key member of several youth-focused and philanthropic initiatives.
