First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has sent a heartfelt message to her husband President Bola Tinubu as he turns 74.
In a message issued on Saturday, she gave thanks to God for his life and prayed for his health, strength, joy and peace.
“To God be all the glory for the gift of life and yet another birthday. I celebrate you, and I pray God gives you health, strength, joy and peace,” she said.
She also expressed her feelings for the president, saying, “I love you, and I am proud of you.”
Senate President Godswill Akpabio also congratulated the president on his birthday.
In a statement signed by him, Senator Akpabio said he joined his family, constituents, the Senate and the National Assembly to celebrate President Tinubu.
“On behalf of my family, the people I represent, the Senate and the National Assembly, I celebrate the President on this occasion,” he said.
He prayed for continued health, strength and wisdom for the president.
“I pray that God will grant you health, strength and wisdom to continue your work,” he said.
Akpabio added that the National Assembly will continue to work with the president.
“At the National Assembly, we will continue to work with you in carrying out your duties,” he said.
