Actor and comedian, Okechukwu Anthony, popularly known as Okey Bakassi, is celebrating a major milestone, 24 years of marriage with his wife, Ezinne.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, Okey posted a series of photos of himself and his wife and captioned it with a heartfelt message reflecting on their journey together.
“On this day 24 years ago, we stood before God, family, and friends in Port Harcourt – the city where we first met – to exchange our marital vows.
“We were young, excited, and completely unaware of the magnitude of challenges that lay ahead. The bills piled up, COVID-19 struck… there were many tough moments.
“But through it all, with the blessing of our three beautiful children, God’s grace, the love of family, and the unwavering support of friends, we pulled through.
“My darling wife, thank you for making this journey look easy. You’re truly the best. Let’s continue holding hands and walking into the sunset, knowing the sun will always rise and we’ll always have each other.
“I love you from now until eternity. Happy 24th anniversary, Zizi.”
The couple are blessed with three children.
