Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner Imisi Ayanwale has opened up about a heartbreaking experience that happened shortly before she joined the reality show.
In an interview with TVC, the reality TV star revealed that she lost her baby just one month before auditioning for Big Brother Naija.
She said the grief and emotional overwhelm that followed were so intense that she didn’t want to discuss the incident publicly.
“I lost my baby this year April. It’s not even a month before I auditioned for Big Brother. The whole thing was so overwhelming. I do not want to talk about it,” she said.
Imisi added that the tragedy, along with a recent breakup with her ex-boyfriend Hakeem, fueled her determination to succeed in the show despite her pain.
Imisi, who won the N80 million grand prize and an SUV, said she now plans to venture into music and expand her career beyond reality television.
She also hinted that she is “not very single,” sparking curiosity about her relationship status since leaving the BBNaija house.
