Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin has marked the 63rd birthday of her husband, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder of House on the Rock Church.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, she shared photos of them together and described him as her husband and the father of their children, stating that she considers it an honour to share life with him.
“Happy Birthday, My Dear Pastor Paul.
To the one I have the singular honour of calling my husband and the father of our children – you are truly a gift,” she said.
She said her husband is a source of guidance and direction, noting his way of thinking and his concern for people.
“You are light in every sense of the word.
Your mind is brilliant, but it is your heart for people that amazes me even more.
You lead with strength, always pointing us to Christ and inspiring those around you.
She added that his leadership style centres on faith and encourages those around him.
Pastor Ifeanyi stated that she has watched him sustain the vision of the church, remain steady during challenges and continue serving church members with commitment.
“I have watched you carry vision with grace,
stand tall through every storm,
and serve God’s people with joy, excellence, and unwavering commitment.”
She thanked him for his role in her life and acknowledged his influence beyond their family, saying the day was set aside to recognise his faith, leadership, love and responsibility to those under his care.
“Thank you for being ‘YOU’. Thank God for blessing the world with someone as special as you. Today, we celebrate you: your faith, your leadership, your love, your covering and the life you so selflessly pour out.”
She also offered prayers for peace, joy, and divine favour in the new year of his life, signing off the message with a personal note of affection.
“May this new year bring you even greater peace, deeper joy, and more of God’s goodness than ever before.
With love and honour, Your Ijebu Princess ❤️,” she concluded.
Pastor Paul and Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin were married in 1995.
Their marriage is blessed with three children: Hilda Adebola, Alvin Adegboyega and Alexander Adekunle.
