Pastor Eniiwaju Etomi has celebrated her daughter, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, on her 40th birthday.
In posts shared on Instagram on Sunday, the cleric uploaded throwback photos from Adesua’s childhood, wedding and other family events.
“Happy 40th birthday to my baby girl. I can’t believe you’re 40. We bless God for your life, for His presence, His love, His care and His faithfulness for you these 40 years. Your paths will yet shine brighter and your life will continually glorify God. Happy 40th birthday my love and thank you for being a good child,” she wrote.
In another post, she added, “Happy 40th birthday Dr Mrs Adesua Etomi-Wellington. God bless you more and more in Jesus name,” while referencing photos from her wedding, doctorate graduation, her brother’s wedding and past birthdays.
Adesua, who is married to singer Banky W, is known for roles in films including The Wedding Party.
She has received awards for her work in Nollywood and has also been involved in advocacy and public speaking.
Eniiwaju Etomi is a civil engineer turned pastor.
She serves as an assistant provincial pastor in CSR Region 5 of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the United Kingdom and is the senior pastor of Holy Ghost Zone Parish in Hillfields, Coventry.
She has led the parish since 2002.
She has also volunteered with youth offending services and worked with black ethnic minority communities in Coventry, including participation in activities linked to the Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 bid.
She is the mother to Tosin, Temitayo and Adesua Etomi-Wellington.
