Actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared how he met his wife and colleague Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, recounting how their relationship developed from friendship into marriage.
In a video shared on Instagram late Sunday, Lateef reflected on his first impression of the actress and how his feelings changed over time as they became closer. He said, “Abeni customer dada ni?
“She was fine when I met her; later, she became beautiful, then gorgeous, and I decided to control it, so I married her. She is very calm because na Omo Get inside. She is always inside her compound”.
Lateef and Mo Bimpe met through their work in the film industry and built a friendship before their relationship became romantic. Both actors had previously said in interviews that they did not initially plan to marry colleagues but later changed their stance as their bond grew.
The couple got married on December 22, 2021, in ceremonies attended by family members, friends and colleagues in the film industry. Since their marriage, they have continued to appear together in film projects and often speak about supporting each other’s careers.
Mo Bimpe, an actress and film producer, rose to prominence in the Yoruba film industry and has featured in several productions alongside Lateef. The couple remains active in Nollywood.
