General Overseer of HolyGhost Christian Centre (HCCNJ), Pastor Amos Fenwa, has opened up about how he met and eventually married his new wife, Fela Osibogun, describing their union as a “restoration” guided by divine prophecy.
Pastor Fenwa, who lost his first wife, Esther Fenwa, in May 2023 after 33 years of marriage, tied the knot again in a wedding officiated by renowned preacher Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) on July 18.
In a testimony shared with his congregation on Sunday, Fenwa narrated how his journey to remarriage began in April 2024 when a minister in Abuja called to relay a dream he had.
“Daddy, I had a dream about you,” the minister told him.
“I saw you getting married to a lady who lives in Europe, introduced by a pastor in London. She used to work in an oil company and has a daughter.”
Soon after, a pastor in London, whom Fenwa referenced as present at the wedding, sent him the picture and name of a woman.
Initially skeptical, he ignored the message.
“When I looked at the picture and name, I felt it couldn’t be her,” he said.
However, in March, after the church’s convention, he said the Lord clearly told him, “The lady whose picture was sent to you is the one you should marry.”
He reached out again to the London pastor and requested to speak with the woman, Fela Osibogun, daughter of Bisi Osibogun, the Iyalode of Ijebuland.
Pastor Fenwa expressed gratitude to her mother for believing in him from the beginning. “She said, ‘You can manage my daughter,’” he recalled.
Describing the union as prophetic and part of God’s divine plan, Fenwa said, “One thing I want to assure us is that it’s a restoration.”
His previous wife, the late Esther Fenwa, was co-founder of HCCNJ and played a pivotal role in its development.
She died on May 27, 2023, at age 57.
Her death was met with tributes from across the Christian community, with many praising her as a strong pillar of faith and a role model to Christian women.
Pastor Fenwa, known for his dynamic leadership and teaching ministry, has led HCCNJ for decades, focusing on spiritual empowerment and global outreach.
Since the announcement of his remarriage, church members and well-wishers have taken to social media to celebrate the new chapter in his life.
