Actress Nkechi Blessing has revealed that she narrowly escaped injury after a section of the POP ceiling in her Lekki home suddenly collapsed.
The 36-year-old shared the experience on Instagram with a video of the damage.
She expressed shock at the incident, saying she had never seen anything like it.
“Come to Lekki they said. Thank God no be inside house and my new car no dey there… wetin I for talk abeg? It’s well with una Lekki developers,” she wrote.
The actress added that the ceiling came down around 4 a.m. on Saturday.
Nkechi Blessing is known for movies like Omoge Lekki, The Ghost and the Tout and Fate of Alakada.
She confirmed in May that her relationship with boyfriend Xxssive (Eseoghene Obire) ended in 2024. She however noted that there was no bad blood between them.
Nkechi is not the only celebrity to experience a ceiling collapse. Skit maker Zicsaloma had his POP crash in 2024 shortly after hosting guests.
Actress Bolaji Ogunmola also faced a similar incident in May, days after surviving a car accident.
