Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has told his daughter Temi at her wedding to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, in Iceland that her husband is now her boss.
In a video from the ceremony on Friday, Otedola said to Temi, “He’s your husband and he’s your boss. There’s no more dad. Don’t call me.”
The ceremony held on August 8 at the Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík was attended by family and friends, including Temi’s mother Nana Otedola, her sister Florence “DJ Cuppy” Otedola and businessman Aliko Dangote.
The billionaire recalled first meeting Mr Eazi in 2017, noting that he had predicted then that the singer would marry his daughter.
He also spoke about the challenges of planning the wedding, including an earlier engagement in Dubai and the storm that damaged their tent a week before the Iceland ceremony.
Otedola credited his wife Nana for raising their children while he focused on business.
He urged Temi to be committed to her marriage and advised the couple to keep issues within their home.
Temi and Mr Eazi had their civil wedding in Monaco on May 9, followed by their traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai in July.
The couple got engaged in April 2022, four years after meeting at an event organised by DJ Cuppy.
