Singer Harrison Okiri, professionally known as Harrysong, has shared work on a house he is building to honour his late grandmother.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Harrysong showed the uncompleted structure and spoke about his plans for the project. He said the house will be finished before the scheduled burial events for his grandmother.
In the caption, he wrote, “This will be completed in a few weeks for Grandma Burial. 21st and 22nd April. RIP mama. We love you.”
The dates he mentioned, April 21 and April 22, are when he plans to hold formal burial rites for his grandmother.
Harrysong is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who rose to prominence after his tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the Most Downloaded Callertune Award at The Headies in 2013.
