Businessman Adedeji Adeleke has said that true happiness in marriage is not determined by financial wealth.

He made the remark in a video recently shared from the traditional wedding of his eldest son, Nicholas Adeleke, held in Lagos.

The ceremony was attended by businessman Aliko Dangote, the Alaafin of Oyo and former Senate President Bukola Saraki.

Speaking to the couple, Mr Adeleke said money and success are good but cannot guarantee peace at home.

“It’s just God’s blessing. Once you have that in your family, you know you have a happy family,” he said.

“Happiness is not about money. The most important thing is peace, happiness, and friendship in your home.”

He urged the newlyweds to support each other and make prayer a daily practice.

“The most important thing is that both of you must pray for each other every morning and every night,” he said.

Davido attended the wedding with his first child, Imade Adeleke.
