Minister of art, culture, tourism and creative economy, Hannatu Musawa, has received singer Darey Alade and his wife Deola on a courtesy visit.
Hannatu on Tuesday shared photos from the meeting on Instagram, describing the couple as heavyweights in the entertainment industry.
She wrote, “It was a pleasure to receive this dynamic duo, @dareynow and @deolaartalade, heavyweights in the music and entertainment industry who have played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s creative landscape. Looking forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate and amplify the incredible work being done across the industry.”
Darey, popularly known as Darey Art Alade, is a singer and music executive. He co-founded Livespot360, a creative collective known for staging some of Nigeria’s biggest concerts and shows. His wife Deola is also active in the entertainment space.
The couple recently made headlines after surviving a car fire on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
Hannatu Musawa, who was appointed minister in August 2023, currently oversees the newly restructured ministry of art, culture, tourism and creative economy.
