Guests attending the white wedding of Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife Chioma, in Miami on Sunday, were told to avoid wearing white or cream outfits.
The instruction, contained in the couple’s invitation card, specifies a black-tie and evening gown dress code for the occasion.
Davido recently revealed he has already spent $3.7 million in cash on preparations for the lavish ceremony.
The Miami event will be the third phase of the couple’s wedding journey. They had a court wedding in March 2023 and a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.
The colour restriction is believed to be to ensure the couple stand out on their big day.
