Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) has announced the launch of the Take on Squad Hackathon 3.0 and opened applications for participants.
The programme is in its third edition and will bring together developers, designers and entrepreneurs across Nigeria to build solutions in financial services, healthcare, commerce and digital inclusion.
The theme for this year is “Smart Systems: The Intelligent Economy.”
Participants are expected to design data-driven solutions focused on how people use money.
Applications are open and teams can register through the official portal.
Managing director of HabariPay Eduophon Japhet said the initiative is aimed at supporting ideas and talent.
He said the programme is designed to help participants develop solutions
that can be applied in real situations.
The hackathon is organised by HabariPay, a subsidiary of GTCO.
Participating teams will use Squad tools to build digital products for businesses and individuals.
GTCO said the programme is part of its efforts to support technology and business development.
