Gospel singer Busola Oke, known for her hit song ‘Eleyele,’ has been presented with a plot of land and appointed as a brand ambassador by a real estate company, weeks after a viral video of her emotional outburst drew attention online.
Actress Biola Adebayo shared video footage on Instagram on Friday showing Busola receiving the gift. She expressed gratitude to the company and its representatives, calling their support a gesture “that deserves appreciation.”
The announcement comes after weeks of public focus on Busola’s struggles. In the viral video, she spoke about challenges in her music career, admitting her frustrations in the entertainment industry. Reports said she had faced isolation, financial strain, and pressure to sustain her career in gospel music. Busola also noted that talent alone was no longer enough to thrive, sharing openly about her hardships.
While discussing her experience, she acknowledged the strain of navigating a changing music scene and the effect it had on her wellbeing.
The singer’s situation also attracted attention from religious figures. In a separate video, Primate Ayodele said he planned to assist Oke with N1 million.
