Technology company Globacom has sent a goodwill message to Nigerian Christians as they join the rest of the world to mark Christmas.
In a message released on Monday, the company described the season as a period of reflection, especially for Christians, and urged them to practise the teachings of Jesus and the love for humanity that his birth represents.
“The noble but lowly circumstances of the birth of Christ teach salient virtues, including obedience to God, humility, love for mankind, and a fastidious commitment to the good of all. We urge Christians to commit to practicing these virtues, as followers of Christ”, the company stated.
Globacom said current realities have placed a responsibility on Christians and others to care for and share with those in need.
“This Christ taught by feeding the multitude on two separate accounts as documented in the Gospel,” it added.
