Globacom, through its Digital Services Network, has launched a new lottery service called Glo Play Up, giving Nigerians an opportunity to win cash prizes.
In a statement issued in Lagos, the company said the service allows Glo subscribers to pick a lucky number between 1 and 9 for a chance to win in weekly and monthly draws.
According to Globacom, Glo Play Up is aimed at creating opportunities for Nigerians who enjoy games of chance.
“We understand the optimism and adventurous spirit of Nigerians. People love to play, dream and hope for that one big win. Glo Play Up is our way of making that dream more accessible, simple to play, affordable, and truly rewarding,” the statement said.
To participate, customers can dial *400# on their Glo line or send their chosen number via SMS to 400.
Each entry costs N100 and players can subscribe daily or play on demand.
The company said weekly draws will hold every Friday at 4 p.m., where ten winners will each receive N1 million.
The monthly draw will produce one grand prize winner of N10 million.
Globacom added that all draws will take place at its head office, with winners hosted at their nearest regional offices.
Prizes will be credited directly to winners’ MoneyMaster Wallet accounts.
