Telecommunications company Globacom hosted the 2025 edition of its women’s empowerment event, SheGlows Summit, at the Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre, Lagos.
The event, themed “Wellness for Growth,” brought together women across the Glo community to discuss wellness, leadership and personal growth.
SheGlows is part of Globacom’s initiative to support and empower its female workforce by providing platforms for professional and personal development.
The summit featured three keynote speakers.
Dr. Olubunmi Aboderin-Talabi, non-executive director at Punch Nigeria Limited, spoke on “The Ten Stages of Wellness.”
She urged participants to prioritise self-care and balance, quoting Joyce Meyer, “You can be pitiful or powerful, but you can’t be both.”

The final speaker, Ifeoma Williams, Global Image consultant and executive presence coach, discussed “Commanding the Room: Building Executive Presence and Influence for Career Growth.”
She spoke on authenticity and emotional intelligence, adding that “only when a woman truly glows does she grow.”
A panel session followed, allowing participants to share experiences and engage with the speakers.
Some attendees joined virtually from other Glo locations.
Participants described the summit as impactful.
Ifeyinwa Okoli, team lead of Customer Care, said the sessions left her feeling renewed.
