Comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, has paid tribute to singer, Gbenga Adeboye, on the 17th anniversary of his death.
The 51-year-old shared the tribute on Instagram on Thursday.
”My Egbon, my mentor and a man I am blessed to call friend. Gbenga Adeboye was one of the most impactful comedians, compere, actor, broadcaster and musician of his generation…Egbon mo, Abefe, jengbetiele @gbengaadeboye_ your legacy lives forever. I will never forget you.”
Gbenga Adeboye, popularly known as Funwontan Oduology, was born on September 30, 1959.
He died of kidney-related causes on April 30, 2003.
