A former National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje has celebrated the graduation of his daughter, Fatima, from King’s College London in the United Kingdom.
Fatima, who is married to Idris Ajimobi, son of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, graduated on Thursday.
Mr Ganduje shared the news on his official X handle on Friday, posting photos and a video from the ceremony held in London.
“Yesterday in London, I had the honour of celebrating my daughter Fatima’s graduation from King’s College London,” he wrote.
He also offered prayers for her future.
“As she steps into a new chapter, may Allah guide her path always. Congratulations, Fatima.”
A video shared on Fatima’s Instagram page showed her receiving her certificate, which indicated that she earned a master’s degree in public policy and management.
Family members, including her husband and their daughter, were present at the ceremony.
Fatima also shared moments from the event on her page, captioning one of the posts, “Alhamdulillah always.”
The graduation comes amid recent announcements of similar milestones by public figures’ children studying in the United Kingdom, including that of the son of the Federal Capital Territory minister, Nyesom Wike, who also completed a postgraduate programme in London.
