FirstBank of Nigeria has announced that it will host its SMEConnect webinar on March 31, to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In a statement issued on March 20, the bank said the webinar will focus on how businesses can use artificial intelligence (AI) in their operations.
The session is themed “AI for Business Growth: From Adoption to Integration and Scalable Impact.”
It is expected to provide information on how SMEs can apply AI to improve productivity, manage operations and engage customers.
The webinar will feature speakers including Temitope Odude, a senior AI solutions architect at Microsoft.
Other speakers are Abednego Ugwueke and Ibidun Adedewe.
Group executive for e-business and retail products at the bank Chuma Ezirim said the programme is part of efforts to support SMEs.
He said the bank has introduced tools such as AI-based credit systems to provide loans to small businesses and has disbursed over N1 trillion to customers.
The bank added that the SMEConnect series is one of its platforms for sharing information with business owners.
It said interested participants can register for the webinar online.
