Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has released the names and pictures of four staff members who died in the September 16 fire incident at Afriland Towers on Broad Street, Lagos.
Those who died were identified as Ekelikhostse George (Assistant Director), David Sunday-Jatto (Assistant Director), Nkem Onyemelukwe (Senior Manager) and Peter Ifaranmaye (Manager).
FIRS shared their photos in a post on its official social media pages on Thursday, with the caption, “Our dearly valued colleagues, taken too soon but forever in our hearts. 🕯️🕊️”
The fire claimed 10 lives, which affected several corporate organisations at the high-rise building.
On Tuesday, United Capital Plc also revealed the names and pictures of its six employees who died in the incident.
They were listed as Jesutoni Shodipo, Kehinde Adeoye, Ndidi Osaemedike-Okeke, Olumide Oyefodunrin, Opeyemi Oloyede and Rebecca Adenuga.
The Afriland Tower fire affected offices of United Bank for Africa, FIRS and United Capital Plc.
