Three leading professionals in fintech and security will headline the high-level panel discussion at the Realnews 13th Anniversary Lecture Series scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The panellists are Lasbery Oludimu, vice president of global operations and managing director, Nigeria, Yellow Card Financial Inc.; Dr Favour Femi-Oyewole, group chief information security officer at Access Bank Plc; and Abdul Rahman M. Mustapha, chief operating officer, Intelligence and Security Services Support Sector, Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU).
They will discuss the theme “Cybersecurity, Illicit Financial Flows and Achieving Agenda 2063 in Africa” immediately after the main lecture.
In a statement, Realnews publisher Maureen Chigbo said the annual event brings together thought leaders to explore key issues shaping Africa’s development.
Oludimu, a lawyer and data protection expert, oversees Yellow Card’s operations in 20 African countries. She is recognised for her expertise in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets and was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Financial Services of 2024 by the Financial Technology Report.
Femi-Oyewole, a cybersecurity specialist with more than 25 years of experience, also serves as Access Bank’s data protection officer. She is the first African woman to earn the title of Blockchain Certified Professional and has held key positions in Nigeria’s Cybercrime Advisory Council.
Mustapha, a financial intelligence and security policy expert, has worked across the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, Defence Intelligence Agency, and Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps. His work focuses on counter-terrorism financing, inter-agency collaboration, and strengthening Nigeria’s compliance with global anti-money laundering standards.
Justice Ayotunde Phillips, former chief judge of Lagos State and former chairperson of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), will chair the lecture and moderate the panel session.
