Fast-rising content creator Sanku Olaniyi, popularly known as Sanku Comedy, has been laid to rest in Osogbo, Osun State.
The comedian was buried on Tuesday amid tears from friends, family and colleagues who gathered to pay their last respects.
Videos shared online captured the moment his body, wrapped in a white cloth, was carried by mourners. Some were seen crying as they surrounded the deceased.
Sank Comedy, also known as Mrsankucomedy, died in a car accident in the early hours of Monday along the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road.
He was reportedly travelling with a friend when the accident happened. While Sanku was rushed to the hospital and later confirmed dead, the condition of his companion remains unclear.
Tributes have continued to pour in online, with many describing him as a talented content creator who brought smiles to people’s faces.
