Managing director and chief executive officer of NG Clearing Limited, Farooq Oreagba, has celebrated the academic success of his second son, Kahil, marking another milestone for the family.
In an Instagram post shared on Friday, Mr Oreagba wrote, “With gratitude to the Almighty, I’m proud to announce another winner, #2 son, has brought home another degree. We’re all extremely proud of you, my darling son. On to the next chapter.”
The post included graduation pictures showing Kahil in full academic regalia, standing alongside his father.
Based in Lagos, NG Clearing operates as a financial infrastructure firm responsible for settlement of derivative trades and risk management in Nigeria’s capital market.
Oreagba assumed the role of MD/CEO in September 2023 and is known for significant contributions to the derivatives and equity markets.
Beyond his role in finance, Oreagba is widely recognised as a cultural icon, earning the nickname “King of Steeze” after a viral moment at the Ojude Oba festival in 2024, where he demonstrated his distinct style and cultural pride.
As a cancer survivor since 2014, Farooq has also become a vocal advocate for early detection and regular health check-ups, aligning his public presence with broader awareness campaigns.
Details about Kahil’s specific degree and the institution remain private.
