Rapper Falz has left many of his fans confused after posting what appeared to be pre-wedding photos on Instagram.
The 34-year-old shared pictures of himself and an unidentified lady in matching outfits on Instagram on Thursday with a caption that sounded like an engagement announcement.
“It’s been a long time coming, and having to do this with you is one of the best decisions of my life. First of all, introduction… THE TEAM,” he wrote.
The post quickly sparked mixed reactions online.
One fan said, “I no trust this Falz, e fit be music video.”
Another added, “Where’s her?”
While a female follower noted, “Many of my gender will go crazy.”
Others were more excited. “Ololo,” one gushed with heart emojis.
“Why? I can’t see who’s in the picture,” another asked.
One fan exclaimed, “No way this real.”
Celebrities also joined the conversation. OAP Do2dtun wrote, “Just tell us when the video go drop,” while DJ BigN reacted with laughter emojis.
Reality TV star Tacha added, “It’s reigning couples! Congratulations Friend!!!”
Singer Switope commented, “Finally we can post about it.”
Falz has never been publicly linked to anyone romantically. In an interview last year, he explained why he keeps his private life off social media, saying the public gets too involved when everything is out there.
The rapper also admitted in another interview that he has never told a woman “I love you” in a romantic way. He revealed that although he has liked someone deeply, he has never been in love and has never been heartbroken.
