Actress Faithia Williams has celebrated her ex-husband Saidi Balogun’s son, Jamal Balogun, as he gets inducted into the pharmacy profession.

Saidi had earlier shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram, expressing pride in Jamal for staying focused despite challenges. The actor wrote: “From long nights to tougher times, you faced it all with strength and grace. Watching you walk this path has been one of my greatest joys. Congratulations on your induction JBOY @jamalofficiall_.”

Faithia Williams also congratulated Jamal on her Instagram page on Thursday with a prayerful message.

She wrote: “Congratulations on your induction into the medical laboratory profession. May this milestone be the beginning of greater achievements and blessings.”

Jamal completed his pharmacy training at the University of Lagos and has now been formally welcomed into the profession. He is the son of Saidi Balogun and his ex-partner Bunmi, who keeps a private life away from the public eye.

Faithia and Saidi, who married in 2000 and later divorced, share two children, Khalid and Aliyah Balogun.

Despite their separation, both actors have remained supportive of each other during major family milestones.

In January, they celebrated their son Khalid after he graduated with first-class honours from the University of Lagos. They also showed mutual support in 2024 following the death of Saidi’s daughter Zinat.
