Faithia Balogun, Femi Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo lead candlelight procession for Allwell Ademola

Actors Faithia Balogun, Femi Adebayo and Iyabo Ojo were among colleagues who led a candlelight procession in honour of their colleague, Allwell Ademola.

Others present included Rotimi Salami, Saidi Balogun and Biola Adebayo. The candlelight procession began immediately after the Service of Songs held at LTV8 in Lagos State.

Also spotted at the Service of Songs were Wumi Toriola, Afeez Owo, Kunle Afod, Faithia Williams, Biola Bayo, Mr Latin, Odunlade Adekola, Jayeola Monje, Toyin Alausa, Regina Chukwu, Eniola Ajao, Yemi Solade, Saidi Balogun, Bakare Zainab, Tawa Ajisefinni, Semilore Pweety, Rotimi Salami, Fausat Balogun, Foluke Daramola and Jigan Babaoja, among others.

The gathering formed part of funeral activities organised to honour the actress, who died in December 2025. The Service of Songs and candlelight procession were held ahead of her burial scheduled to take place in Lagos on Friday.

Allwell Ademola was a filmmaker known for her work in Yoruba and English language films. Colleagues and fans have continued to pay tribute to her, describing her as committed to her craft and supportive within the industry.
