Veteran gospel filmmakers and founders of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, are celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary.

The couple, known for their pioneering work in Christian drama and film production, got married on October 8, 1988.

Marking the occasion on Facebook on Wednesday, Mike shared a gratitude-filled message highlighting God’s faithfulness in their marriage.

The filmmaker wrote that God’s grace, power, mercy and love have kept them strong through life’s challenges. He added that the Holy Spirit guided them through the valleys and mountains and thanked everyone who prayed for them, wishing them prosperity in return.

The post drew congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues and well-wishers who praised the couple for their enduring love and ministry partnership.

Mike and Gloria co-founded Mount Zion Faith Ministries in 1985 with a mission to spread the gospel through drama. Their first stage play, Hell in Conference, was produced the following year at St. Margaret Girls’ Grammar School in Ilesa, Osun State.

Over the years, the ministry has produced more than 200 gospel films including Agbara Nla, The Train and Abejoye, gaining global recognition for Christian storytelling.

Despite starting with limited resources, the couple have often shared how faith sustained them through early struggles. Mike once recalled that they could not afford a honeymoon after their wedding and depended on help from friends and family to meet basic needs.

The union is blessed with three children: Damilola, a film producer and director; Joshua, popularly known as Jaymikee, a gospel musician; and Darasimi, a media and drama minister.

The Bamiloyes are widely regarded as pioneers of Christian film in Nigeria, inspiring a new generation of faith-based filmmakers through the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama.
