Enugu Air officials has deplaned an unruly passenger, less than a month after the incident involving Comfort Emmanson on an Ibom Air flight.
In a video circulating on X on Monday, an unidentified man was seen being dragged off the tarmac by airport personnel before he was later released for dialogue.
The incident sparked reactions online, with some users calling for stricter enforcement of aviation rules.
An X user wrote, “This Enugu Air drama is just another example of why Nigerian airlines need stricter rules, not more leniency… soft handling of such disruptions only encourages more chaos.”
Another added, “What’s this new trend? Tomorrow we will hear Boko haram blew up a plane.”
A third user commented, “FAAN officials should devise better ways to handle situations. It’s becoming embarrassing. Passengers should also comply with instructions. This is unwarranted.”
The incident comes weeks after Comfort Emmanson was removed from an Ibom Air flight on August 10 for assaulting flight crew.
In another case, fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, displayed disruptive behaviour on a ValueJet flight in Abuja on August 5.
