Eniola Badmus threatens action over pimping allegation

Actress Eniola Badmus, who also serves as special assistant to the speaker of the House of Representatives on social events and public hearings, has denied a viral social media claim that she acts as a pimp for top politicians and film figures.

The allegation was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user identified as @Femzydr1, who wrote that the actress “links young girls up with top directors, movie executives, and Nigerian politicians” and that she gained political access through those connections.

Responding to the post on her official X account on Thursday, Eniola called the claim false and attention‑seeking. She wrote:

“This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it….this is a false accusation and Authorities will step in…..Let it be known that we do not forgive in this zone.”

This is not the first time Badmus has faced similar claims. In 2023, a young TikToker accused her of acting as a pimp. The actress reported the post to police, and the accuser later admitted the allegation was false. That person was convicted of cyberstalking and accepted a fine or jail term under cybercrime laws.

Eniola Badmus first rose to prominence in Nollywood in the 2000s and is known for roles in films like Jenifa and Omo Ghetto. She has remained active in entertainment and public service.
