Actress Eniola Badmus has expressed appreciation to actor and producer Timini Egbuson and director Kayode Kasum following the premiere of the film Love and New Notes.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, she thanked Timini Egbuson and others while sharing pictures from the movie premiere which took place on Sunday.
She wrote, ” A very special thank you @_timini @kayodekasum @muyibanti Thank you for putting me on board and trusting me with such a beautiful and wonderful role. I truly loved every part of this journey, from start to finish.
“I pray this film breaks through at the cinemas and receives the appreciation it truly deserves. Being celebrated and given my flowers at the movie premiere meant so much to me…..it was huge in my sight and something I will always cherish.
“Thank you for the honour, the love, and the recognition. It is truly deserving, and I am deeply grateful. Thank you so much.”
Her role in Love and New Notes marks her return to the screen after a long hiatus.
The romantic drama is directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Timini Egbuson. The film is set against the backdrop of Nigeria’s 1984 currency change and follows characters navigating love, personal choices and survival during a period of economic uncertainty.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Timini Egbuson, Odunlade Adekola, Sophie Alakija and Eniola Badmus. Love and New Notes is scheduled for release in cinemas nationwide on February 13.
